At the end of my blog entry, I posted a video tutorial (in fast-forward) if you are interested to see how I made the background.

Here is the challenge board for the 13@rts challenge, and the theme is "Bling Bling":

The first picture of my layout and the next two photos were taken with my camera's flash on - it really brings out the glitter and sparkle in the layout:

The Golden Glass Bead Gel with glitter gave my layout just the sort of "bling" I was trying to achieve for the layout.

I was really excited to use the 13@rts paper that I ordered from their online store! I have wanted to use their paper for a while now, and I am so glad I finally decided to order some of their collections. For this layout I chose to use the 13@rts Out of the Blue Collection - "Pink Flowerets" paper for my background.

The next set of pictures were taken without my camera's flash.

"Fulfilled" Layout - VIDEO TUTORIAL

This is my newest layout titled "Fulfilled", and it is my entry for the More Than Words Challenge for June, 2016.

Here is the inspiration board for the More Than Words challenge:
More Than Words Challenge for June, 2016
The picture for this layout is my sister and new nephew. The word IMAGINE made me think of something that I envision as a "dream come true", and that is why I chose this particular picture and titled the layout "Fulfilled". I see the picture and think, "Dream fulfilled."

For the creative part of this month's challenge, GET MESSY, well... to tell you the truth... I can't think of a time when I didn't make a mess! Gesso, texture paste, glue, gel medium, embossing powder, glitter... I make a mess. That is why I made this blog entry, to show people that a Fisher-Price Pool Table is the BEST solution for me. For this layout, I used what is sort of like the Lindy's Stamp Gang version of a wet-in-wet watercolor technique. I dripped Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays and water all over the place for this one.

Here are some close-up pictures of my layout:
